For those of us who suffer greatly during the long span between the exciting season of USC football, the wait can be aggravating. Thankfully, as summer rolls by, we slowly but surely are closing in on a new year to watch and cheer for our Men of Troy. A good reminder of how close the season is becoming is available in the form of the announced kickoff times for 10 of the 12 games. This article will have that information available to you so you know when to start planning your tailgating or to have that big screen TV on lock-down so that the significant other can’t pull a fast one on you.

Continuing the USC Trojans tradition of excellence in baseball, a total of 13 current and potential future Men of Troy were selected in the 2008 MLB draft. USC has fared extremely well with the talent on its renowned baseball program and, despite some recent struggles on the field, the quality of players continues to funnel through to the MLB. A total of four current USC players, including star outfielder Nick Buss, were picked up in the draft. Joining them are nine high schools players who have signed letters of intent to play for USC.
